Congratulations graduates! These flowers headed to Cabot for their graduation ceremony. It was quite the adventure to get there. I was loading up the car and heard an audible hissing from my tire. I stopped at a gas station, filled it up, and went on my way. We got there, unloaded, and visited some of my former students and colleagues. When I went to get back in the car, my tire was completely flat. SO grateful for the Ryan at the Cabot Garage for plugging my tire in no time at all so baby and I could get home safely!

I’m taking a leap of faith and… have resigned from my position as a school counselor. It’s a major life change, as I’ve worked as an educator for the past ten years, 7 as a counselor. I’ve loved and been passionate about the work, but I know it will be there again in another chapter of life. I am so fortunate that I have the opportunity to be a mama and flower farmer full time 🌸

This week’s act of kindness for Hadleigh bouquet went to Lea Warren. Lea works for Central Vermont Home Health and Hospice as a RN/IBCLC in their Maternal-Child Health program. Lea and this program provide a wide range of supports in home for families learning to care for their babies. I admire and appreciate their work immensely 💜 #hadleighshopeday

Coming soon- peonies! 🌸 we don’t usually have peonies until the first week of June. Will it be sooner this year? I hope so!

It’s a CSA pick up day! These bouquets feature La Belle Epoque tulips, Copper Image tulips, Geranium daffodils, and willow foliage. Enjoy! 🌞

Want to try growing your own dahlias? I have a surplus of tubers in these varieties available to purchase in the stand Thursday- Sunday. Plant them in the next two weeks for flowers August-first frost!

Some of my very first flower customers bought a CSA share to spread kindness in honor of their daughter Hadleigh. This week, we brought the weekly to a local elementary school counselor and leader of the school’s Kindness Club, Suzanne Francke. Mrs. Francke’s leadership connects students to the greater Montpelier community through student led kindness projects. We thought she deserved to be on the receiving end of some kindness! I look forward to sharing where these random acts of kindness end up in the next few weeks 💜 #hadleighshopeday
